• Police use new powers to close property ending anti-social behaviour hell

Two Birmingham brothers, aged 44 and 46, have been banned from their own home in what is believed to be the first use of tough new powers in the UK to tackle anti-social behaviour.

The house on Newcombe Road, Handsworth Wood was closed last week following on-going complaints from neighbours. The closure order bars the pair from entering the house due to the nuisance they have caused in the area.
