A tornado swept through parts of Nottinghamshire on Friday night leaving a wake of loose tiles and debris in its path. The damage was worst in Stapleford, but the tornado was also seen in other parts of the county. A Met Office spokesman said: "It could have been a funnel cloud or tornado, but the evidence suggests it was a tornado, due to the damage.
