Crews from Stockhill, Arnold and London Road stations were called to High Church Street, in New Basford, at 5.15pm on Friday (May 5). Two stags who escaped from a park onto a dual carriageway in Nottingham have safely been returned to their herd after a joint rescue operation between the RSPCA, the police and local council.The pair of native red stags were spotted by motorists near to the roundabout by Queen's Medical Centre on Derby Road at 9am this morning (Friday, May 5), after escaping through a vandalised fence at nearby Wollaton Park.A passing ambulance crew managed to herd them into a nearby front garden before calling.
