    A 17-year-old boy is in hospital after being assaulted in Nottingham city centre. The incident is said to have taken place on Stoney Street during the early hours of Saturday.
    Police have described his condition as serious but stable but he is not thought to have suffered life-threatening or life-altering injuriesA police cordon remained in place in Stoney Street on Saturday while investigators carried out examinations of the area.
