    A man has been taken to hospital after the car he was driving left the road in West Bridgford. Rugby Road is closed to traffic and pedestrians near its junction with Loughbourough Road and traffic is being diverted down Burnside Road. A police cordon has been put up at the scene while the vehicle, a Nissan Micra, is recovered. Police were called to the Rugby Road at noon and the road was still closed at 2.50pm.
