    Cystic fibrosis patients could receive better treatment as a result of a gene therapy which has shown to improve some people's conditions. The therapy has been shown to stabilise and slightly improve the condition in some of 136 patients in a trial.The lungs of patients showed no decline when given healthy "copies" of the gene which causes the condition to inhale once a month.
