Ilkeston FC chairman Dave Mantle has sold the club to general manager Nigel Harrop.
Mantle has written off all debts and the Robins will now look for further investment in the summer.
The club say they will undergo financial restructuring, but the model of bringing young players through its impressive academy set-up will continue and is seen as a key factor in any hopes of future success.
