They shut out title rivals Belfast Giants on their own ice as three first period goals set up a 4-0 win, the excellent Robert Farmer adding a fourth late on.
He finished with a goal and three assists. The equally impressive Guillaume Doucet, set up Farmer brilliantly for his second goal as he finished with two goals and an assist.

A judge will today decide whether a woman should be jailed or sent to a mental hospital for the brutal knife killing of a Nottinghamshire-born pensioner.Sandra Bainbridge was stabbed to death by Andrea Cutler, formerly of Adler Court, Derby, who was an intruder in her own home.Ms Bainbridge, 70, was born in Nottinghamshire and moved to Ilkeston in 1969. She later moved to Belper, Derbyshire, in 2007. Cutler, 39, has previously admitted the manslaughter of former Derby Homes worker Ms Bainbridge. -
