An elderly woman was trapped in a car following a single vehicle collision near Loughborough this afternoon.The collision happened in Rempstone Road, Hoton shortly before 1.30pm.Firefighters from Loughborough and neighbouring Nottinghamshire managed to free the woman from the car.She and another casualty, who had managed to get out of the car before the fire service arrived , were take to hospital in separate ambulances.The air ambulance was called but was not needed. -
