    These brilliant old photos offer a proper look back at South Harrow in the early 1990s, with Northolt Road looking very familiar in some places and completely different in others.
    The pictures, taken in 1991 and 1995 and shared by a member of Harrow Online, show old shop fronts, cars, street signs and businesses that many local people will remember.
    There is also a great shot of Screaming Lord Sutch inside Sellanby Records, one of South Harrow’s best-known old record shops.

    Man taken to hospital after fire destroys loft and outhouse in Eastcote
    A man was taken to hospital after a fire broke out at a house in Eastcote on Friday afternoon (2 October).
    Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to Wentworth Drive at 3.47pm following reports of a blaze at a semi-detached property.
    Loft and garden outhouse destroyed
    London Fire Brigade said both the loft of the house and an outhouse in the garden were destroyed by the fire.

    Two young brothers from Harrow have completed their huge indoor climbing challenge after taking on the equivalent height from Everest Base Camp to the summit to raise money for children affected by flooding in Nepal.

    Burnt Oak station to close for two weeks as step-free upgrade works continue
    Burnt Oak Underground station will close for two weeks later this month as work continues to make the Northern line station step-free.
    The station will be completely closed from Monday 26 October until Sunday 8 November, with Northern line trains passing through without stopping.
    Passengers who normally use Burnt Oak will need to travel via nearby Edgware or Colindale stations during the works.
