A total of 13 people will face trial charged with attacking a teenage asylum seeker in Croydon who was left in hospital for more than a week. Rekar Ahmed, 17, suffered a fractured eye socket, fractured spine, severe bruising and a bleed on the brain when he was attacked near the The Goat pub on Shirley's Shrublands estate on March 31.
