  Two extra platforms could be installed at East Croydon station as part of a huge upgrade, after a recent report found improvements at the station are integral if improvements are to be made on the Brighton Main Line as a whole. The London and South Coast Rail Corridor Study, which was published on March 2, proposes a number of projects which would help increase capacity on the line and reduce congestion.
