A number of people were injured after a crash between two cars and a bus outside Croydon University Hospital. Police, paramedics and fire crews attended the collision outside the hospital in London Road at the junction of Dunheved Road Northin Thornton Heath at 4.41pm yesterday (Tuesday). The road was closed for more than four hours as emergency services were at the scene. A Metropolitan Police spokesman said "people were injured" but did not have details on how many people.... -
About 20 cannabis plants seized in raid on Selsdon address
Several cannabis plants have been seized following a police raid on a property in Forestdale, Selsdon this morning.The Heathfield Safer Neighbourhoods Team carried out the raid as part of Operation Hawk, the Met Police's crackdown on drug dealers.Officers bashed in the door to the property in Charlwood, just off The Green, and seized cannabis plants which were being grown on the premises with hydroponics equipment.It is unclear exactly how many plants were seized but it is thought to have been.. -
