A teenager has died this evening after being stabbed on the Monks Hill estate in Selsdon. Police and paramedics were called to Heather Way at about 7.40pm and an air ambulance was also seen landing on a patch of grass between Broadcoombe and Farnborough Avenue as medics tried to save the young man, who is believed to have been 19. Police are investigating a reported 'stabbing' on the Monks Hill estate in Selsdon this evening.An air ambulance is understood to have landed on a large patch of grass between Broadcoombe and Farnborough Avenue at about 8pm.An eyewitness has told the Croydon Advertiser that a police cordon has been put in place around Heather Way which comes out onto Broadcoombe at one end.A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police has confirmed that officers are in the area, but could not give any further details. -
