Six people were injured when two double-decker buses crashed in West Croydon yesterday. Police and paramedics were called to Station Road at the junction of Wellesley Road at about 6.20pm when a route 157 bus collided with a route 60 bus. A baby was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash between a car and a lorry in South Croydon. Police came across the collision at 12.30pm in Coombe Lane at the junction with Ballards Way yesterday (Thursday).A man, woman and a baby in the car were taken to hospital. The man and woman were in a serious condition and the baby's condition was described as life-threatening. Detectives from the Roads, Transport Policing Command are investigating.
