  PART of the roofing on South Norwood Leisure Centre blew off today after high winds battered the area.The centre was forced to close after a number of panels at the front of the building reportedly flew off the side and onto the ground No one had been hurt and the building was cordoned off this evening.A spokesman from Croydon Council, which joint runs the centre with Fusion, said the damage was up in the "high roof".The centre is expected to re-open tomorrow morning as normal.
