Possession of an offensive weapon was the most common reason for permanent exclusions in Croydon in the 2014/15 academic year. FIREFIGHTERS battled a car fire in Kenley this morning.The owners of the Mercedes 4 by 4 called emergency services after seeing the car alight in Gulf Road at about 6am, thought to be caused by the engine.
