  A MAN is in critical condition after he 'collapsed behind the wheel' of his car before it collided with a tree in West Croydon this morning.Police and the ambulance service attended the scene on Roman Way at around 10.20am at the junction with Derby Road.A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said the man driving the Mercedes is believed to have collapsed at the wheel beforehand.He was taken to a south London hospital where he remains.Officers closed the A236 road and remained at the scene this...
