TWO people were taken to hospital this afternoon after a 500ml bottle of liquid ammonia spilt at a house in South Croydon.Two fire engines, two rescue units and a command unit attended the house on Sutherland Road at 12.20pm.The pair were vomitting and had watering eyes before being taken to hospital by ambulance.The extent of their condition is not yet known but a London Fire Brigade spokesman believed they were treated for inhalation.
