  POLICE have closed Croydon Underpass following a serious collision involving three cars. Firefighters cut away the roof of at least one of the vehicles following the incident at 8.40pm this evening (Thursday). The underpass is currently closed in both directions as emergency services deal with the scene. Two people were injured in the crash but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police are directing traffic away from the underpass and there is significant congestion through.

  Neighbouring homes were evacuated after a house roof completely collapsed in Thornton Heath this afternoon.Nobody was inside at the time of the collapse on Totton Road at 2pm.Firefighters made the area safe and the cause is not yet known.Did you see what happened or have any photographs of the scene?
