A pile of rubbish caught fire near Ely last night (Thursday).Firefighters from Ely and Chatteris were called to the blaze in Grunty Fen Road, Witchford, just after 7.05pm and arrived to find a "small rubbish fire".A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 8.14pm."The cause of the fire was accidental." -
