A petition has been launched to have the speed limit on Bassingbourn Road and Brook Road in Bassingbourn reduced from 60mph to 40mph to protect children in the village. The petition was started to reduce the risk of serious accidents to pedestrians and cyclists, particularly local children who use it as a route to school.
