Investigation underway after woman assaulted in Bridgwater
We’re investigating an incident in which a woman was assaulted by three other women in Bridgwater. The incident happened in an alleyway off Victoria Road at about 9.20am on Thursday 24 October. The victim, a woman in her thirties, suffered a facial injury as a result. The three offenders are described as white and in their thirties, with one driving a silver VW people carrier.

Magistrates have granted a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) in an attempt to reduce alcohol-related anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Southville, Bristol. Steven James Edmunds, 49, of North Street, was handed the order by Bristol magistrates on Thursday 14 November. Breaching the conditions of a CBO can lead to arrest and result in the courts imposing a fine, a prison sentence, or both.

Man arrested following serious assault in Bridgwater
A man has been arrested in Bridgwater following a serious assault on Friday night (15 November). Officers, alongside the fire and ambulance service, were called to Fore Street following the incident at around 8.30pm. A man in his fifties was badly injured in the incident and has been taken to hospital where he remains. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.
