    Although a formal decision about HS2’s Euston station is not expected until the end of the month, the Transport Secretary, Louise Haigh, has suggested that the station will be built with a tunnel link to Old Oak Common.

    A Victorian drinking fountain on Kensington High Street that was installed over a century ago has been restored to working order.The stone fountain was installed next to the Public Library in 1900 and paid for by the local Temperance Society, which was dedicated to promoting drinking water over alcohol.
