    New public garden and viewing tower for Regent’s Park
    Regent’s Park in central London is about to get a viewing tower, as approval has been granted to create a new garden and reuse an old water tower for the public.

    The water tower stands in a disused plot of land that was the Royal Park’s former nursery but has been disused since 2018 when a replacement opened in Hyde Park, leaving behind empty greenhouses and warehouses.

    A new railway viaduct has been completed just outside London, as part of the HS2 railway passing near Wendover.

    Not far outside London is Sandhurst, the British Army’s military training centre for officers, and they hold occasional tours for the public of the grand buildings hidden behind high walls.
    The tours are a mix of learning about the military heritage, looking around several grand and impressive buildings, and seeing the grounds that are usually off-limits to the public.

    Hampton Court Palace’s ornately decorated Chapel Royal has closed to worshipers for the first time in two decades to allow a rare chance for conservation work to be carried out.
