    London’s newest museum opens next week, although it’s less of a museum than a private art collection, which will be shown on Oxford Street.

    The Moco Museum (Modern Contemporary Museum) is an independent commercial museum specialising in modern and contemporary arts that opened in Amsterdam in 2016 and then, in 2021 opened an outlet in Barcelona.     A mausoleum in the shape of a Bedouin tent, including a window to look inside, is to be restored if the local heritage group can complete their fundraising campaign.The unusual mausoleum is in Mortlake and contains the earthly remains of the Victorian explorer, Sir Richard Burton, who was famed for his explorations and was said to be able to speak 29 languages.     Museum of the Home unveils rooms from the Past and Future
    Four new rooms of the past and one new room of the future have opened at the Museum of the Home, giving glimpses into the private homes of various Londoners.
    Stepping slightly away from the classic upper middle-class homes of the times before the 20th century, the new rooms are closer to the homes that most people would have lived in, from post-war flats to modern flatshares.
