    Tickets Alert: Sunset tickets for Horizon 22 viewing gallery
    Every Friday through August, there will be champagne Lates at London’s highest viewing gallery, where you can take in the sunset over the city. The Horizon 22 viewing gallery usually closes by 6pm, but the lates will open an hour later from 7pm to 10pm.

    However, with a glass of champagne included, unlike the daytime visits, which are free, the Horizon Lates costs £29.50 per person.

    Next month, there will be another chance to take a trip on a 1938 era heritage tube train out to Heathrow and back again.

    The trips will run on the weekend of 10th and 11th August, and will run the art-deco tube train from Northfields station on the Piccadilly line in west London out to Heathrow, where it will loop via Terminal 4 and Terminals 2&3 before returning to Northfields.

    Southgate tube station’s historic clock has been restored
    An art deco wall clock, part of Southgate tube station‘s iconic design, has been restored to its original 1930s appearance.

    The art-deco style clock was installed opposite the Grade II* listed Southgate Tube Station in 1932-1933, as part of Charles Holden’s design of Station Parade in Southgate. The architect designed the wall clock as a concrete roundel with brass gilded ring plates and 12 gold button studs marking the hour.

    A life size Formula One racing car made from LEGO bricks is in London tomorrow
    If you pop along to the LEGO store in Leicester Square on Fri or Sat, you can see a life-size Formula One racing car, entirely made from LEGO bricks.

    It might look slightly different to the ones you see on the race track today, as the model is based on the McLaren MP4/4 racecar, made famous by Ayrton Senna.
    The model is made of 400,000 pieces of LEGO and took a total of 820 hours to design and build.
