• Telcos could make billions from 5G satellite services

Telecoms operators could make a lot of money from partnering with satellite companies to offer satellite-based 5G services, one analyst firm pointed out this week.
Juniper Research puts the potential revenue uplift at US$17 billion over the 2024 to 2030 period and, as a result, is strongly advising telcos to team up with their satellite counterparts.
Working with satellite operators will also help telcos get ready for 6G – more on that in a moment – but rather than looking ahead to t

The ancient ceremony is also coming up to date – as same-sex married couples are now being invit

  • Vodafone Idea dismisses major US takeover bid

Vodafone Idea has moved to deny a media report that claimed it could soon be acquired by a big US telecoms player, naming Verizon, Amazon and Starlink as likely candidates.
