    There will be substantial disruption to the London Underground next week as six days of strikes by three unions hit the network.Three unions, the RMT, ASLEF and Unite are planning strike action over six days on the Tube network, starting on Sunday 23rd July.     A golden letter sent from Burma to Britain, studded with rubies will go on display later this year as part of an exhibition looking at the long history of the two countries.

    Ahead of an Elizabeth line Committee meeting next week, Transport for London (TfL) says that the Elizabeth line is now beating post-pandemic passenger number forecasts. In its first full year of operation, the Elizabeth line carried just over 150 million passenger journeys, and although passenger demand is below pre-pandemic forecasts it’s above a range of post-pandemic projections.
