• London Underground to close Kentish Town tube station for a year

  This coming Tuesday, Frameless, a large basement space at Marble Arch filled with video animated versions of grand master paintings will be free to visit for people aged under 18 years old.

• Rogers taps SpaceX for direct-to-device services

  Canadian telco Rogers has become the latest big name to jump on the satellite direct-to-device (D2D) bandwagon.
  The operator on Wednesday announced it has partnered with SpaceX to avail itself of the Elon Musk-owned company’s upcoming Direct to Cell service, which promises to enable satellite communication using off-the-shelf smartphones.

• Detailed maps of London’s Superloop bus service released

  Transport for London (TfL) has shown off new bus maps for the proposed Superloop network, showing suggested stops and how it connects to transport links, town centres and local services.
  The Superloop is a proposed network of limited-stop express bus routes to run around London, and the proposed routes will be subject to further detailed planning, engagement and public consultation.
  If it goes ahead, the Superloop will be rolled out in several phases until it forms a near circle around London.
