    A cluster of disused railway arches close to Camberwell town centre is to be restored and rented out, the Arch Company has announced.

    US telco group Liberty Global has joined e& in buying a chunk of Vodafone and insisting it’s just indulging in a spot of casual financial speculation
    In a short announcement, Liberty Global said it has acquired 1,335 million shares in Vodafone Group, which at time of purchase represented 4.92% of the outstanding share capital. Apparently it was funded by something called ‘attractive non-recourse financing’ which sounds like corporate speak for taking a date out to dinner.

    The Spanish arm of telco group Orange has deployed a commercial 5G SA network in several cities, with more to follow this year.
    The network will be available in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville, and Orange claims it is the first operator to deploy a commercial 5G SA network in Spain. 90% coverage is promised in these cities, and more locations are going to be plugged in over the course of 2023.

    This is a mixed mews near Oxford Street and hidden behind a 1970s office block that boasts some very odd architecture, and some Wombles.Jacob’s Well Mews is named after a local resident, Jacob Hinde, who named many of the local streets after members of his family. It was developed in the early 1790s and originally plan Jacob’s Mews. It was renamed soon after it was completed though, possibly from the name of the pub on the corner, the Jacob’s Well pub.
