  • Shopping surge sends tube stations back to pre-pandemic levels

    Passenger numbers at tube stations in key shopping areas returned back to pre-pandemic levels last weekend, according to the latest numbers from Transport for London (TfL).
    TfL says that over a million entries and exits were recorded at stations designated near ‘shopping’ locations, which includes stations such as Oxford Circus, Knightsbridge and High Street Kensington.

  • New public art behind the Elizabeth line’s Bond Street station

    If you look around the back of the Hanover Square entrance to the Elizabeth line’s Bond Street station, you’ll spy a large work of public art hanging on the wall.It’s a nine-metre long strip of crafted terrazzo and is the first large-scale public commission by London-based artist, Rhys Coren. The passage it sits on is new, having been created as part of the oversite development for the area after the buildings had been cleared to build the Elizabeth line station.
