    A giant maze of coloured rooms will open on Clapham Common later this month, as Colourscape returns.

    During the summer months, Westminster Abbey will be opening in the evenings for visitors to soak up the atmosphere of glowing stained glass windows after work.

  • Nokia and Eurofiber hatch a plan to accelerate fibre roll out in Europe

    Finnish kit vendor Nokia and pan-European fibreco Eurofiber Group have signed an agreement to accelerate fibre roll outs in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands with optical transport and datacenter switching.
    The firms say they have signed something called a frame agreement which includes the multi country DWDM roll out, datacenter switching and other elements all of which is in the service of increasing Eurofiber’s footprint. The agreement covers all Eurofiber affiliates.

  • Heritage protection for 1960s Fulham fibreglass panels

    A series of giant abstract decorative panels on a former British Gas building have been given protection with a Grade II listing, along with the former exhibition building they are attached to. The panels, made in the 1960s by the celebrated artist John Piper are also one of the artist’s largest single commissions, thought to be second only to his Baptistry window at Coventry Cathedral.
