• US turns up the heat on Google over alleged dodgy data dealings

  Washington DC Attorney General Karl Racine sued Google for ‘deceiving and manipulating consumers to gain access to their location data’ and claimed this means it is nearly impossible for users to stop their location from being tracked.

  Not in London, but worth flagging up as the Longford Castle is a private estate that’s only open for a few tours each year.
  Longford Castle is an example of what’s called an Elizabethan prodigy house – a huge richly decorated house designed to impress a Queen, and paid for from the proceeds of a wreak from the Spanish Armada. A touch over 300 years ago it was bought by William Bouverie, 1st Earl of Radnor and has been the family seat of the Earls of Radnor ever since.

• LGBTQ+ museum to open in King’s Cross this Spring

  What is thought to be the UK’s first dedicated museum to gay history is set to open in Granary Square, King’s Cross, occupying part of a building owned by the charity, Art Fund.
