    Transport for London’s existing funding deal with the government, which was due to expire today has been extended, again, to 4th February 2022.
    The decision gives both sides more time to negotiate the terms of a long-term settlement to secure the future of London’s public transport services, which were thrown into some disarray by the latest Covid restrictions.     Struggling US satellite firm Intelsat has been given the go ahead to action its bankruptcy plan, which is designed to halve its debt.
    The Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia has given approval for the firm to complete its financial restructuring, which is intended to reduce its debt from approximately $16 billion to $7 billion. Intelsat filed for Chapter 11 in May 2020 to fund the clearing costs associated with the US C-band auction.

    Greek incumbent OTE Group ploughs billions into fibre
    The OTE Group has announced plans to roll out full fibre to 3 million homes and businesses in Greece over the next five years, investing around €3 billion in the process.
