VMO2 and ITV renew their vows
A new commercial partnership between Virgin Media O2 and ITV apparently signifies a greater mutual commitment than ever.
You’ve always been able to get ITV on Virgin’s platform, of course, but this is all about on-demand streaming and advertising integration, it seems. The five-year deal includes the full integration of the ITV Hub platform onto Virgin TV set-top boxes, which will presumably make it easier to access and navigate.
In return VMO2 gets to use Planet V, which is describe

Google has a mixed day in European courts
US internet giant Google has defended a class action suit in the UK but still has to hand over billions to the EU.
The separate matters happen to have concluded on the same day. In the UK, its Supreme Court took a third look at a class-action claim against Google’s alleged hoovering of user data from Apple’s Safari browser on iPhones a decade ago. The claim sought millions of pounds of damages on behalf of those users on the grounds that their data was misused.

5G pacesetters twice as likely to grow ARPU, claims Ericsson

Of course Orange is sure the new technology that promises to open up the ecosystem of vendors involved in the radio access network is a great idea, otherwise it wouldn’t be bothering with this, but we d
