  O2 has announced it will switch-on its 5G network at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire to fuel the testing of autonomous and connected vehicles.

• Disney+ streaming service looking good ahead of November launch

• Cloud gaming could account for half of 5G traffic

  Video traffic management outfit Openwave Mobility chatted to some operators and they reckon cloud gaming will account for 25-50% of 5G traffic.
  The anecdotal finding was arrived at during a livecast hosted by Openwave, which was apparently attended by a bunch of operators. • Huawei powered Chinese operators trial 5G for industry verticals

  China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile operator by subscribers, has just trialled 5G for business vertical use on a standalone (SA) architecture. Huawei and Baidu provided the technologies.
