Three has announced the launch of a new two-year partnership with EasyJet to build out its loyalty programme for customers.
As part of the agreement, Three customers will be able to check in hand luggage for free, while also taking advantage of priority boarding amongst other benefits including a free tote bag for carry-on essentials. This partnership is the latest to buffer the Three customer experience strategy which also includes tie-ups with Snapchat.

Watershed moment: should mobile operators be worried we talk less?
A new report from Ofcom claims users in the UK spoke 2.5 billion minutes less on their mobile phones, down by 1.7% in 2017, the first such decline in history.
This followed the trend total talking time by the UK population has been declining over several years, primarily mainly driven by the sharp drop in minutes spent on fixed line phones. While many telcos are keen to convert customers to valuable postpaid contracts, Three CEO Dave Dyson doesn’t believe the type of payment is relevant, as long as you keep your customers happy.
“We are quite agnostic, so we just view it as a payment method,” said Dyson. “As long as you create a good customer experience you shouldn’t have to worry about the flight of customers. We’re very open to pay-as-you-go solutions on 5G.”
