Equinix owns up for London broadband outage
BT has confirmed around 10% of its customers experienced an outage this morning, which has reportedly been linked to a power incident at the former Telecity LD8 site in London, now owned by Equinix.

Orange and AT&T have reached a collaboration agreement to cooperate on the development and standardisation of SDN and NFV technologies.

Telco industry still bottom for customer service satisfaction
The Institute of Customer Service has released its Customer Satisfaction Index stating the telco industry is the lowest ranked sector in the UK.
While the industry has made improvements over the last twelve months, it finished in last place with an index of 72.9, behind the likes of utilities and public services. The European Commission has decided to let German telco Deutsche Telekom upgrade its fixed network with vectoring technology, having received assurances over competitive safeguards.

Mercedes-Benz claims to have successfully demonstrated an IoT-enabled autonomous bus in Amsterdam, while Android Auto has taken its number of automotive customers to 50.
