Trump touts '303,000' US job additions — more than double what the government reported in October
President Donald Trump appeared to falsely claim on Twitter Friday that the economy added more than 300,000 jobs in October.
The official employment report released just before showed a monthly payroll increase that was less than half of that.
As he faces an impeachment inquiry ahead of his 2020 re-election bid, Trump has increasingly sought to paint a rosy picture of the economy.

Microsoft's $10 billion Pentagon contract win changes everything in the cloud wars with Amazon. Here's what you need to know. (MSFT, AMZN)
Last week, the Pentagon sent a shockwave through the cloud computing world with the surprise announcement that Microsoft had won the $10 billion Joint Defense Enterprise Infrastructure (JEDI) contract in a huge upset over Amazon Web Services.
This came as a shock to basically everybody: Amazon Web Services was long the favorite to win, mainly for the very good reasons that it's bigger than everybody else, has a higher security clearance than anybody else, and already had a $600 million de -

There's nothing that compares to the Apple Watch, but I'm hopeful Google's Fitbit acquisition will change that (GOOG, GOOGL, FIT, AAPL)
There's little doubt that the Apple Watch is more appealing than most smartwatches, whether they run Google's Wear OS or their own operating systems like Fitbit's Fitbit OS.
Apple Watches are appealing for their design, deep integration with the Apple ecosystem, and health and fitness monitoring features.
Most smartwatches running on Google's Wear OS lack the comprehensive health and fitness monitoring features of the Apple Watch.
Fitbit's smartwatches lack a high-end design and deep -

Trump's decision to become a Florida resident could be a huge tax-saver for him and his family
After the New York Times reported that President Donald Trump had switched his residency from Florida to New York, he said the Empire State's taxes factored into his decision.
Setting aside the claims of political victimization, Trump likely stands to reap benefits from Florida's lenient tax climate for two key reasons.
There are no separate state income or estate taxes, the latter being used to tax the transfer of wealth and property of the deceased to designated heirs.
