President Donald Trump threatened Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a White House letter the day after he invaded northern Syria, saying Erdogan shouldn't be a "tough guy" or a "fool" as he tried pressing for negotiations to end the hostilities.
The letter was first obtained by Fox News correspondent Trish Regan, and it was later confirmed by The New York Times as authentic.
In the letter, dated October 9, Trump struck an aggressive tone while also holding out the prospect of a deal.

Netflix spikes 11% after global subscriber growth blows away forecasts (NFLX)
Shares of Netflix rose as much as 11% in post-market trading after the company reported international new subscriber additions in the third quarter that beat Wall Street forecasts.
The streaming giant also reported US subscriber additions that were in line with estimates. The prior quarter Netflix saw a contraction in domestic subscribers.

General Motors climbs after agreeing to tentative labor deal with UAW that could end month-long strike (GM)
Shares of General Motors climbed as much as 2.5% Wednesday on the announcement of a proposed tentative labor contract with the United Auto Workers union.
The UAW said in a press release emailed to Markets Insider on Wednesday that the union sent a proposed deal to the UAW GM National Council for approval.
