Debenhams Group has increased its proposed fundraising to £40m, as it reportedly seeks to strengthen its balance sheet and accelerate its turnaround strategy.

Flying Tiger appoints new CEO to bolster international growth
Flying Tiger Copenhagen has named Jens Aarup Mikkelsen as its new CEO, succeeding Martin Jermiin.
Mikkelsen will step down from his current role as CEO International to take up the position of group CEO at the variety store chain.

American clothing brand The North Face has unveiled a new concept space within Flannels to mark the launch of its SS26 Red Box Collection.

Sales rebound in Jan as retail sees strongest rise since May ’24
The latest Office for National Statistics figures show retail sales volumes jumped 1.8 per cent in January, marking the largest monthly increase since May 2024 and offering the clearest sign yet that consumers may be regaining some confidence after a soft end to 2025.
