UK consumer sentiment has improved after months of record-low confidence, according to new data from Dentsu.
The marketing agency’s upcoming consumer navigator report indicated a potential turning point for the UK economy, amid easing trade tensions and a cut in interest rates.
Confidence in the UK economy notably improved at the end of May, with 28% of consumers describing it as in good or excellent shape, compared to less than 20% three months before.

Victorian Plumbing founder CEO departs after 25 years
Victorian Plumbing founder Mark Radcliffe is set to step down from his role as CEO, as the bathroom specialist unveils a change in leadership.
Radcliffe, who will stay on the board as a non-executive founder director, will be succeeded by the brand’s current group managing director Stephnie Judge on 1 April.
Judge joined Victorian Plumbing in 2013 and was named as the business’s group managing director in 2020 after several promotions.
