Next has opened what is officially its largest UK store at Bluewater Shopping Centre, tripling its footprint at the Kent destination to 132,000sq ft.

The Entertainer is opening a new store at Manchester’s Trafford Centre later this year.

Aldi handed out thousands of free ice creams last week in Clapham Common, as it works to help parents save money on “everyday treats”.

Moss has announced that it is relocating to a larger store at Cribbs Mall, after signing a 15-year lease, while Levi’s is set to take over the menswear retailer’s former unit.

The owner of The Range, Wilko, Homebase and Bathstore has secured a hefty new £190m credit facility to increase investment in stores, artificial intelligence and its supply chain.
CDS Superstores has agreed the asset-based revolving credit facility with Wells Fargo Capital Finance, alongside HSBC and Citi.

Hugo Boss beats forecasts despite significant sales drop
Hugo Boss has posted better-than-expected second-quarter operating profit and maintained its full-year outlook, despite weaker demand pushing sales down nine per cent.
The company’s earnings before interest and tax fell 28 per cent to €59m (£51m) during the quarter, from €81m a year earlier.
