Co-op to roll out electronic shelf labels to all stores by 2026
Co-op is planning to replace its paper pricing tags with electronic shelf labels in all its 2,400 stores by next year.
The convenience store chain, which has partnered with retail tech firm VusionGroup, has upgraded its labelling system in around 340 stores so far, The Grocer reported.

M&S website back online amid ongoing cyber fallout
M&S’s website has returned online following a reported service outage on Wednesday evening (21 May).
Visitors to the website yesterday were faced with a page reading: “Sorry, you can’t browse the site currently. We’re making some updates and will be back soon,” The BBC reported.
However, as of Thursday morning (22 May), the food and fashion giant’s website has returned for shoppers.

Tesco UK chief executive Matthew Barnes has stepped down from his post after more than a year to pursue other opportunities.

Nike to hike retail prices and return to Amazon amid tariff uncertainty
Nike is set to hike its retail prices from 1 June amid the Trump tariffs.
The sportswear giant, which recently reported a sales drop in its first quarter, is set to raise the cost of its shoes that cost £74.50 or more by as much as £7.50, according to the BBC.
The prices of its equipment and clothes will also jump by between £1.50 and £7.50.
The price hikes have been driven by a range of internal and external factors, the BBC said.
