Yodel is set to begin hiring thousands of workers as it prepares for the busy festive shopping period.
The parcel carrier is understood to be lining up millions of pounds in seasonal financing to boost its workforce by 3,000, Sky News reported.

John Lewis and Waitrose confirm Boxing Day store closures
John Lewis will shut its standalone stores on Boxing Day, with only its Trafford and Stratford shopping centre shops remaining open.
The majority of Waitrose stores will also shut on 25 and 26 December, The Sun reported, meaning over 300 Waitrose and 37 John Lewis sites will remain closed on Boxing Day.
