Topps Tiles has snapped up the brand and intellectual property of tile supplier CTD Tiles out of administration for £9m.
The tile specialist has acquired the supplier’s brands including CTD Tiles, CTD Trade and CTD Architectural Tiles, 30 of its retail stores, selected stock and all related intellectual property.

Asda is slowing down its convenience store openings and cutting capital expenditure to focus funds on addressing in-store issues.
Since revealing in December 2022 its target to open 300 convenience stores by the end of 2026, the grocer has only launched nine stores.

Morrisons hit with senior staff exodus as third of top execs exit
Morrisons has suffered a wave of senior management departures, with seven senior executives exiting over the summer, including convenience director Miles Foster, chief customer officer Darren Blackhurst, property director Mark Nowak, and productivity director Jonathan Bell.
