  Ted Baker is to close 11 of its UK stores as it appoints administrators, with 145 job set to be lost at the retailer.
  Approximately 120 store roles are expected to be lost at the fashion retailer, while around 25 head office workers have also been made redundant due to a necessary reduction in central costs.

  The number of retailers buckling under economic pressure has hit a five year high as consumers remain cautious amid the cost-of-living crisis.
  Insolvencies in the sector are up 19% to 2,195 in the year to January 31, up from 1,843, according to figures from Mazars.
