House of Fraser to shutter two more stores
House of Fraser owner Frasers Group will be shuttering two more of its department stores over the next month as the retail titan continues to focus on its Sports Direct and Flannels flagships.
House of Fraser will close the doors to its store in Solihull on 28 August and its branch in Guildford on 30 September.
In the year to 30 April, Frasers has axed eight of its department store branches, taking the total number of stores to 31 across the UK.

Getir to axe 10% of staff as rapid delivery demand wanes
Getir will be slashing around 10% of its global team as it plans to “restructure the global organisation to significantly increase operational efficiency”.
The rapid grocery delivery firm, which bought rival Gorillas in a £1.2bn deal late last year, employs 23,000 people on five continents, including couriers, pickers and office employees.
