Tesco is set to recruit more than 11,000 temporary staff this year to help it meet the spike in demand for online grocery orders over Christmas.
The UK’s largest grocer has seen its online operations grow rapidly throughout 2020, increasing by 90 per cent over the three months to the end of August alone.
